“Although I appreciate many styles, from gaudy Victorian headboards to flamboyant Psychedelic Art, to the bones of my 1951 house, less still proves to be more. A paired down, clean modern setting proves to be most livable and inspiring for me.
My love of mid century modern is very diverse. Sometimes it’s the linear clean lines, or it’s an organic form that grabs my attention. I like the raw feeling of natural wood tables. Like those produced by, George Nakashima, with his wonderful burl pieces. Open floor plans, and a Japanese sensibility appeal to me.
I’m really just a big fan of function. So give me a long, low credenza and I’m in Heaven!  Besides, my cats look fabulous on Mid-Century Modern! That’s just pure aesthetics, not vanity!”
