It’s been a great day for me. I discovered that the offices of Ray & Charles Eames are just a few blocks away from where I live in Venice. For 30 years they designed from the 901 Abbot Kinney location. I did a little research on it once I discovered location and there were recent plans to turn it into a boutique hotel - Hotel Ray. Unfortunately the plans for the hotel were halted and now the existing building is up for lease as commercial space. Methinks Lushpad will be making a move to 901 Abbot Kinney soon…
