Mid Century Modern - Romweber Dining Chairs # M-744 manufactured between 1949 & 1955. Part of the Romweber Originals in Modern Collection & designed by Harold M. Schwartz, a New York Designer. I am told by Romweber, that the chairs are oak. They are pictured in 1950 catalog pages provided to me by Romweber. The chairs are in wonderful condition. I believe the chairs have been reupholstered. The fabric quality is very nice. The wood is original finish.

I confirmed with Romweber that these are featured in the 1950 catalog. Romweber was a high end furniture manufacturer. The chairs were purchased from an estate in one of the oldest and nicest parts of Fort Worth, Texas.
